Overview

Lumo Builder introduces a revolution in terrain database modeling. Lumo Builder is specifically tailored to create, modify and maintain terrain databases for ground based operations that require a large amount of detail. The user interacts with the environment through the concept of Building Blocks and Building Block Templates. Lumo Builder fits in between tools like 3D Studio MAX, Creator, Maya, Sketchup and other low-level polygon Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools on one end and simulators or pre-processing tools for simulators on the other end.

Lumo Builder in C,mm,n Car driving simulator   The University of Twente and re-lion are working on a driving simulator for the ‘Car of the Future’ using Lumo Builder and Lumo Drive in which future mobility is explored.

Lumo Builder is used to rapidly develop new virtual environments that will be used with Lumo Drive for research and demonstration purposes. Key features of Lumo Builder are easy terrain generation with DTED and GeoTIFF import, high-detail procedural road networks including intersections and a correlated view on visuals, AI and collision databases.
