re-lion will again be present during the 'Landmachtdagen' in Havelte on the 29th and 30th of May this year. During these two days, the Army base will be open for public and several demonstrations will be given by Land and Airforce. Most simulation activities will be concentrated around locations purple-5, 9 and 14.
On display will be a demonstrator linking the simulation systems of Thales, TNO and re-lion as well as a preview of Landscape, the terrain database maintenance tool based on Lumo Builder. The simulation contains an actual CV90 vehicle participating in an outdoor demonstration connected via radio to systems running the Army's proprietary Battlefield Management System (BMS), VBS2 and TNO's forward air controller. It is a showcase of Live-Virtual interoperability. |
